Yu-gi-oh! Deck Discussion - Uriasworn I

That is correct, for the start of 2012, I decided to make a Uria deck utilizing Vanity's Emptiness. Right now, I have a rough draft of what I want done for this deck, so here it is:

2x Card Trooper
Celestia, Lightsworn Angel
Ehren, Lightsworn Monk
Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior
Jain, Lightsworn Paladin
3x Judgment Dragon
Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner
Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress
Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
Sangan
3x Uria, Lord of Searing Flames
2x Wulf, Lightsworn Beast

Charge of the Light Brigade
Dark Hole
Monster Reborn
Monster Reincarnation
Pot of Avarice
Reinforcement of the Army
3x Solar Recharge

2x Call of the Haunted
3x Glorious Illusion
3x Lightsworn Barrier
Torrential Tribute
Trap Dustshoot
3x Vanity's Emptiness

Rate, fix, comment, thoughts, and discuss. Enjoy!

  1. I honestly don't see how the deck would use Vanity's Emptiness for anything other than Uria food. I'm probably overlooking it hardcore, could you explain the deck? Pretty please? :P

Other than it being Uria food, it has the potential to stop potential Special Summoning. Say for example, your opponent activates "A Hero Lives". You can chain Vanity's Emptiness to it. For your opponent's effort of paying half their Life Points, they get nothing in return, which causes them a -1, AND causes them to rethink their strategy, because it prevents them from Special Summoning that turn, unless they can wipe out a card on my Field for that turn.
