Cardfight!! Vanguard - Strategies II - Pale Moon - Part 1

Picking a Grade 0 Vanguard:
Pick Underworld Manager. More will be explained in the Strategy section.

Strategy (Assassin Loop):
Just as I talked about in this post, linked here, there's an assassin loop, that revolves around Counterblast cards, but how would we set that up though? If we utilize Soul Charging to it's fullest, you'll be able to finish the Soul Charging Process well before you go for the Assassination. So, here's a list of some Soul Charging Cards you can use:
With these Soul Charging cards, and with the Assassin Loop, explained here, you can come up with a quick end for your opponent.

Guarding:
  • 8 Grade 0 Shields (10000)
  • 8 Draw Triggers
  • 11 Grade 1 Shields
  • 3 Underworld Hypnotist
  • 11 Grade 2 Shields/Interceptors
Sample Deck List:

Grade 0:

Grade 1:

Grade 2:

Grade 3:

If there's any links that I should add to the Cardfight!! Vanguard - Tutorial Section, let me know. If you have any questions, leave a comment. Anyway, enjoy!

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Pale Moon - Assassin Loop

I think it's about time I do something slightly different with some strategies, so, I'll do this in two parts: one with an idea on what to expect, then go into detail with the Basic Strategy in the next post.

Now, let's get started:

~~~
Pale Moon - Assassin Loop:
First let me introduce the cards in question for this loop:
First off you'll ask: "Why is there a loop?" Good question, but you'll realize what I'm saying when you read the effects. First three deal with this effect: "When this card's attack hits, you may pay this cost (which is Counterblast 1 and moving the unit to Soul). If so, choose a Pale Moon besides [Name of Card] and place it in a Rear Guard Circle." If that's the case, when your attack hits, you can call out another Pale Moon, and attack again. That's the typical loop for the first three, but a new card came out that can make the repeating attacker have a booster
Anyway, I'll explain more in "Cardfight!! Vanguard - Strategies II - Pale Moon - Part 1". Enjoy!
Took today off
I decided to take a break and try to finish up a few other things on my end that needed to take care of. So far, I want to know these few things:
  • I'll still keep on posting on Twitter, but I'm wondering if having Twitter updates helpful for you guys. That poll will be open for a few weeks, not sure when I'll close it.
  • I've thought about making a Yu-gi-oh! custom set, which include all 3 text changes. Which text do you like?
  • I'm thinking about what to post next for the Cardfight!! Vanguard section, so stay tuned.
In other news, here's the English link to the Cardfight!! Vanguard site: http://cf-vanguard.com/en/.
EDIT: Both polls are posted on the sidebar.
Cardfight!! Vanguard - Strategies II - Dark Irregulars - Part 1
Picking out a Grade 0 Vanguard:
Pick Vermillion Gatekeeper. The deck focuses in on Soul Charging, so when you ride onto this card, you get to Soul Charge one for later use.
Strategy:
The main Vanguard being used is Demon World Marquis, Amon, since his ability can be over-powered when you use the correct cards. For example, if you use it with Doreen the Thruster, and use that ability once or twice per turn, you would have a good chance of getting some serious damage to your opponent. When some people don't realize is that when your opponent has to retire a unit, they have a hard choice to make: "Do I need to keep my boosters, or do I need my interceptors to guard for this turn? If so, do I have enough of a push for game?" That decision made by your opponent may end up being their downfall. At least, that happens most of the time, so an alternate strategy is needed.
Alternative Strategy (Stil Vampir's fear factor):
Another fear factor is having Stil Vampir in your Deck. Once your opponent realizes it, they would have to play conservatively, since once you use Stil Vampir's Soul Blast/Counterblast and put a Grade 0 or Grade 1 Rear Guard in the Vanguard slot, it forces them to not be able to use higher Grade Guards, which causes them to take damage. Hence why there's a "Stil Vampir's fear factor"...
Guarding:
~~~~~

While I was testing out Watts, I came across this:
Electric Snake
Level 3     Attribute: Light
[Thunder/Effect]
When this card is discarded from your hand to the Graveyard by an effect of a card controlled by your opponent, draw 2 cards from your Deck.
ATK: 800    DEF: 900

Well, I thought about this in two instances against Dark World:
  • If your opponent is running Dragged Down to the Grave: Control your hand and set whatever you can, then once they do Dragged Down to the Graveyard, the only target that they can pick (hopefully) would be Electric Snake.
  • If your opponent is running Dark World Dealings: Draw 1, dump Electric Snake, and draw 2 more off Electric Snakes effect.

Anyway, rate, fix, comment, thoughts, and discuss. Enjoy!

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Strategies II - Dimensional Police - Part 1

Picking out a Grade 0 Vanguard:
Pick Enigman Flow. More will be explained in the Strategy.

Strategy:
This time, the chain riding is below:

It's similar to the Amber Dragon Cards, the Stern Blaukruger cards, and Phantom Blaster Dragon cards. If you want to review what I have gone over in both those strategies, here's the three links:
Elaborating the Strategy of Enigma Storm:
For powering up Enigma Storm to gain the power to get the Critical +1 ability, you have to power up your Vanguard by 4000 power. Such cards that can grant you +2000 Power are listed below:
And another card that can grant +4000 Power by Counterblast 2 is Cosmo Beak.

Another note that is needed to be said:
While boosting, you need to pay attention to the Power level of your Vanguard is that you need to make sure what is the power level of the opponent's Vanguard or Rear Guard that you are attacking. Majority of the time, it would be 10k or 11k, so if you want to waste your opponent's Shields, make sure that you increase the increment of your power by 5000 times the number of increments plus the target's power level.

Guarding:
  • 12 Grade 0 Shields (10000)
  • 4 Draw Triggers (5000)
  • 11 Grade 1 Shields (5000)
  • 3 Diamond Ace
  • 11 Grade 2 Shields/Interceptors (5000)
Sample Deck List:

Grade 0:

Grade 1:

Grade 2:

Grade 3:
2x Enigman Rain

Reasoning behind not being able to post about the Cardfight!! Vanguard program

It simply didn't work out as well as I planned. For every error I encountered, two more errors showed up. If I decide not to play for a while, and go back to it, it'll put up another error. If you like dealing with errors, go try out Vanguard Master, since that seems to be the better place for a Cardfight!! Vanguard simulator. If you do not want to deal with errors, continue playing on Cardfight Capital.

Review:
Well, there's two different languages to have the program display, one of them being English. So, when I'm reading through, I thought it would be easy. Well...it wasn't. When you go onto a different window, the window changes to a different language, which caused me to wonder if it's still in Beta, or they haven't decided to stay with it in their region, or extending it to a different region.

Of course, learning a different language has the good ideals and the bad ideals behind it. The good ideals is that you can read and type in two different languages. The bad ideals is that you don't know how to speak it, and how it suddenly changed when you select the language to be "English".

My recommendation is to stay with Cardfight Capital, which is on BYOND, because it's has a good database, and you can face people, rather than dealing with it working half the time, decent database, and facing yourself.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Strategies II - Tachikaze - Part 1

Picking out a Grade 0 Vanguard:
Pick Dragon Egg. With his ability to pull himself out of the Soul when you ride a Grade 1 Tachikaze, and his bring back ability when Dragon Egg is retired, it'll be best if you have him out as soon as you can.

Strategy (Superior Riding):
This strategy focuses in on Superior Riding into Chaos Dragon Dinochaos. Ways around the retire cost of his are the following:
The back-up Vanguard would be Tyrant Deathrex, since when it attacks, it's 15000, and if it hits, you have to retire one of your creatures.

Guarding:
  • 12 Grade 0 Shields (10000)
  • 8 Draw Triggers (5000)
  • 7 Grade 1 Shields (10000)
  • 4 Archbird
  • 11 Grade 2 Shields/Interceptors (5000)
Sample Deck List:

Grade 0:
4x Black Cannon Tiger
4x Bombarding Dragon, Sledge Ankylo
4x Herbivore Dragon, Brutesaurus
4x Savage Shaman
Dragon Egg

Grade 1:
4x Archbird
4x Wing Dragon Skyptera
3x Sonic Noah

Grade 2:
4x Bombarding Dragon Cannongear
4x Ravenous Dragon Megarex
3x Assault Dragon Blightops

Grade 3:
4x Chaos Dragon Dinochaos
4x Tyrant Death Rex

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, I set up a Twitter Account to let you guys know if there's any immediate updates in the future, since that'll be easier for me to let you guys know what is going on. Anyway, enjoy!
Yu-gi-oh! Deck Discussion and Explanation - Rescue Rabbit I
3x Hunter Dragon
3x Kabazauls
3x Mad Lobster
3x Sabersaurus
2x Dimensional Alchemist
3x Rescue Rabbit
2x Summoner Monk
Book of Moon
3x Creature Seizure
Dark Hole
Heavy Storm
Monster Reborn
Pot of Avarice
3x Symbols of Duty
2x Call of the Haunted
3x Commoner's Charity
Solemn Judgment
2x Solemn Warning
Torrential Tribute
Trap Dustshoot
Extra Deck: (Changes may pend, I haven't tested thoroughly yet)
3x Evolzar Dolkka
3x Evolzar Laggia
3x Leviair the Sea Dragon
3x Steelswarm Roach
3x Wind-Up Zenmaines
Changes that I may do:
  • Have 2 Evolzar Dolkka and 2 Evolzar Laggia.
    • Seems a bit unnecessary because I only run 6 Level 4 Normal Dinosaur-type Monsters in this build.
  • Keep Leviair the Sea Dragon at 3.
    • For combos with Rescue Rabbit.
  • Have 1 Steelswarm Roach and 1 Wind-Up Zenmaines
    • 2 or 3 are too many.
Cards that I may/may not add:
  • Black Ray Lancer
  • Number 17: Leviathan Dragon
  • Number 39: Utopia
  • Daigusto Emeral (2 of them)
  • Lavalval Chain
  • Number 16: Shock Ruler Conqueror of Colors
Strategy:
In a simple sense, it's basically negation. First turn Laggia becomes key to bring down your opponent partly, but fighting him one-on-one is another thing. Hence why I'm considering trying out Daigusto Emeral to recycle the materials for Laggia and Laggia itself for repeated use.
As for Rescue Rabbit, I have two options as well as Normal Summoning Rescue Rabbit:
  • Leviair the Sea Dragon: Detach a material to Special Summon Rescue Rabbit from the Banished pile for it to use Rescue Rabbit's effect again is typically good.
  • Dimensional Alchemist: To bring Rescue Rabbit back to your hand from the Banished pile when it does get destroyed. Then, you can Normal Summon Rescue Rabbit next turn and do a typical Xyz tactic to bring out a Rank 3 or Rank 4 Xyz.
Anyway, rate, comment, fix, thoughts, and discuss. Enjoy!
EDIT: Removed the part of Summoner Monk in Deck Explanation section.
Yu-gi-oh! Deck Discussion and Explanation - Fortune Ladies I
Sorry for not posting as of late, but I needed to make sure a few things were done, in real life. Anyway, right now, here's a deck list for Fortune Ladies that I have been working on:
3x Apprentice Magician
3x Fortune Lady Dark
2x Fortune Lady Fire
3x Fortune Lady Light
3x Fortune Lady Water
2x Fortune Lady Wind
3x Kinka-byo
Allure of Darkness
Dark Hole
2x Different Dimension Gate
3x Fortune's Future
3x Future Visions
Heavy Storm
Monster Reborn
2x Terraforming
3x Compulsory Evacuation Device
2x Slip of Fortune
Torrential Tribute
Trap Dustshoot
Extra Deck
3x Gachi Gachi Gantetsu
2x Inzecter Exabeetle
3x Leviair the Sea Dragon
2x Number 11: Big Eye
3x Steelswarm Roach
2x Tiras, Keeper of Genesis
Deck Explanation:
This deck focuses in on Fortune Lady Light. By using Fortune Lady Light's effect, you can bring out your other Fortune Ladies for their effects. So far, it seems to work well on Dueling Network.
Why didn't you add Fortune Lady Earth?
It was just a beatstick, and the 400 damage it provides really doesn't do much to help this deck in the long run, so it stayed out.
Why an Extra Deck with monsters from Rank 2 to Rank 7?
Each time a Fortune Lady gains a Level, it gives more access to higher level Xyz Monsters, if I need to use them.
Anyway, rate, fix, comment, thoughts, and discuss. Enjoy!
This time the chain riding is below:
It's similar to the Amber Dragon Cards and the Stern Blaukruger cards. If you want to review what I have gone over in both those strategies, here's the two links:
These cards are the center of the strategy to decrease the cost of how many cards you lose from Phantom Blaster Dragon's ability:
These cards help reduce the cost by either drawing extra cards or summon extra units to your Field.
Guarding:
  • 12 Grade 0 Shields (10000)
  • 4 Draw Triggers (5000)
  • 11 Grade 1 Shields (5000)
Small Update and Endless Decay
Sorry that I haven't been posting lately, I had some things to do in real life that needed to be taken care of, and still have to be taken care of. In any case, here's what I've been doing:
  • Yu-gi-oh!
    • Working on the Crystal Beast deck. The main problem is Spell and Trap hate, so I'm going to be trying to reduce that.
  • Cardfight!! Vanguard
    • Working on Strategy II - Shadow Paladins.
In any case, here's a card I just recently noticed:
Endless Decay
***** Attribute: Dark
[Zombie/Effect]
If you have 2000 Life Points or less, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: This card's ATK becomes half the opponent's Life Points.
ATK: ? DEF: 0
I'm reading and I'm thinking, "Run this card and have a milling mechanic to send this card to Graveyard and 3 Book of Life to make sure your opponent loses 4000 Life Points near -immediately-." I'll take a look at that card more and see if I can sense a strategy from it.
