Yu-gi-oh! Deck Discussion and Explanation - Rescue Rabbit I

3x Hunter Dragon
3x Kabazauls
3x Mad Lobster
3x Sabersaurus
2x Dimensional Alchemist
3x Rescue Rabbit
2x Summoner Monk

Book of Moon
3x Creature Seizure
Dark Hole
Heavy Storm
Monster Reborn
Pot of Avarice
3x Symbols of Duty

2x Call of the Haunted
3x Commoner's Charity
Solemn Judgment
2x Solemn Warning
Torrential Tribute
Trap Dustshoot

Extra Deck: (Changes may pend, I haven't tested thoroughly yet)
3x Evolzar Dolkka
3x Evolzar Laggia
3x Leviair the Sea Dragon
3x Steelswarm Roach
3x Wind-Up Zenmaines

Changes that I may do:
  • Have 2 Evolzar Dolkka and 2 Evolzar Laggia.
    • Seems a bit unnecessary because I only run 6 Level 4 Normal Dinosaur-type Monsters in this build.
  • Keep Leviair the Sea Dragon at 3.
    • For combos with Rescue Rabbit.
  • Have 1 Steelswarm Roach and 1 Wind-Up Zenmaines
    • 2 or 3 are too many.
Cards that I may/may not add:
  • Black Ray Lancer
  • Number 17: Leviathan Dragon
  • Number 39: Utopia
  • Daigusto Emeral (2 of them)
  • Lavalval Chain
  • Number 16: Shock Ruler Conqueror of Colors
Strategy:
In a simple sense, it's basically negation. First turn Laggia becomes key to bring down your opponent partly, but fighting him one-on-one is another thing. Hence why I'm considering trying out Daigusto Emeral to recycle the materials for Laggia and Laggia itself for repeated use.

As for Rescue Rabbit, I have two options as well as Normal Summoning Rescue Rabbit:
  • Leviair the Sea Dragon: Detach a material to Special Summon Rescue Rabbit from the Banished pile for it to use Rescue Rabbit's effect again is typically good.
  • Dimensional Alchemist: To bring Rescue Rabbit back to your hand from the Banished pile when it does get destroyed. Then, you can Normal Summon Rescue Rabbit next turn and do a typical Xyz tactic to bring out a Rank 3 or Rank 4 Xyz.
Anyway, rate, comment, fix, thoughts, and discuss. Enjoy!

EDIT: Removed the part of Summoner Monk in Deck Explanation section.

  1. You can't use monk for the rabbit sadly as rabbit cannon be special summoned from deck

  3. Rescue Rabbit can't be Special Summoned from the deck, so Summoner Monk is a no-go.

  4. Note: u can't special summon rabbit from ur deck by using monk. read the first sentence of rabbit. otherwise, it can be even more broken

  6. Rabbit cannot be special summoned from deck, so Summoner Monk is straight out.

Already been told about it, hence why I removed that part from the Deck Explanation, but in essence, it's better to have a back-up Rank Summoning fodder if I need it.

There's already plenty of instances where I can draw a dead Spell Card, and discard it for Summoner Monk's effect to get the third Level 4 Normal Monster that I didn't search out for Rescue Rabbit's effect.

  9. Nice build! I like common charity a lot it helps getting rid of dead normal monsters.

I know this already, and it could potentially help me; however, when Rescue Rabbit's already removed, I could do Call of the Haunted + 2 Level 3 Normal Monster Summonings for Leviair and get a later game Laggia when my opponent has barely any cards left.

Thanks for the compliment. Commoner's Charity's uses were for baiting stuff, as well as, getting some draw power for this deck by removing a dead Normal Monster in hand.
