Ritual Deck (2) - Explanation and an Update (short post)
With Phantom Skyblaster, you can get a Level 8 Ritual Monster out easily (obviously, in this deck, it's either Level 6/Level 7 Ritual monster). With some Ritual Devils (Djinns) in the graveyard, and Evigishki Tetrogre out on the field to send them repeatedly to the Graveyard, it becomes an easy task for Ritual Summoning if Phantom Skyblaster is used, instead of wasting multiple Djinns for one Ritual Summoning.
As for updates:
As for updates:
- I'm going to look into Tethys for Perfect Destiny. Kitda9 offered it as a suggestion, so I'm going to see if I can integrate it into the deck, I probably will have to rework the entire monster line-up.

A small thought...(short post)
Yeah, I've been in and out for today, so I've been wondering this:
- Would Phantom Skyblaster be good in Rituals, since Tokens can't be used for Exceed Summoning unless it's a trap monster?
To put it briefly, this will be my next deck idea, with Ritual Devils, Richuas, and whatever else I can think of.

Information about what is going on in Japan (short post)
One of the bloggers I subscribe to is giving updates about what's going on in Japan. If you want, you can follow this blog: http://www015uppso-netnejpcalligraphy.blogspot.com/ and find out what information you are looking for.
More specifically, this post is the last latest update on what's going on in Japan. I don't know how long this exact post will stay up, since the author deletes this post and provides a new post with a new update; however, the author is providing this information about what is going on in this dire crisis.
I send my condolences to everyone in Japan. Since I live in the U.S., I can't describe the situation that well with watching the news all the time, but hopefully with this information, you'll be able to understand the situation there better.

Small Update and a Casual Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck
I've began my work on the Yu-gi-oh! Creation Set: "Legacy of the Blades", so you'll now notice a different aspect when entering here. Right now, there's only two cards on it:
- Princess of the Blades - Clarisa
- Princess of the Blades - Maya
- Sidenote: For "Princess of the Blades - Maya", I need to see if I can get a card with full art being made. What may happen is that I'll change the art of the card itself to suit that requirement.
And now, here's a casual Blue-Eyes White Dragon build:
3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
3x Cyber Dragon
2x Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands
3x Kaibaman
3x Paladin of White Dragon
3x Shining Angel
2x The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion

What do you prefer?
Currently, I was making my way through making customs, and I came across something nice. Seeing as I haven't made my rounds through making customs, I thought: "Eh, let's see if anyone else seems to be interested in this." So, it's time to make another custom for display as a taste of what is to come of the Yu-gi-oh! custom set.

Princess of the Blades - Clarisa
******* Attribute: Light
[Warrior/Synchro/Effect]
"Legendary Sword - Divine Flash " + 1 or more Non-Tuner monster(s)
When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can add 1 "Blades" monster from your Deck to your Hand. Once per turn, this card is not destroyed by battle. When this card destroys a monster by battle, at the End Phase of the turn, Special Summon 1 "Blades " monster from your Hand.
If anyone's wondering where I'm getting this idea, I got the idea from playing a DS game called Suikoden Tierkreis. It's a very good game made by Konami, so if you ever get the chance to get your hands on it, do so. Information about the game can be found here.
Anyway, what do you prefer? The actual card itself, or the entire card being fully covered in art. Regardless, enjoy!

Game Analysis - Duel Monsters Genesis
Link to it: http://www.byond.com/games/EternalDuelistSoul/DuelMonstersGenesis
Alright, I'll explain it the best I can with what they listed on their hub.
Alright, I'll explain it the best I can with what they listed on their hub.
- 5914 Game Cards
From this, they feature all TCG cards, all OCG cards, and all anime-only cards. With this, you would expect it to be similar to the OCG competitive environment before entering into this game, which is exactly what you should expect when entering.
- 100+ Player icons
With this, they don't tend to keep around old versions of icons of each character, instead they keep on improving the characters they have and update them accordingly.
- Advanced, Traditional & Underground Formats
This is actually notable and reflects upon what people would like to play. If you don't like the Advance Format at the time, you can switch to Traditional Format. If you don't like either, you can play Underground where anything goes.
- Easy to use Drag & Drop Deck Editing
With this, you'll be able to move cards from the card database to the deck editor.
- Multi-direction Duels & On-screen Duel Disks
- Tag Dueling Support
- Duel Runners & Riding Duels
- Signer and Dark Signer battles
From this, you can have a duel from all four directions on your screen with an on-screen duel disk with some commands. Underneath that, you can have specific duels, which can be Tag Duels, Riding Duels, or Signer vs. Dark Signer battles.
- Original graphics & content created especially for the game.
Over a duration of time, you can expect something to change about in the Duel Monsters Genesis system, so take a look around once in a while, and see what you can find.
- Weekly Tournaments.
- Frequent updates & large community.
For the Weekly Tournaments, they typical host them in the morning, so I tend to miss out on those. So, I wouldn't have any idea on how they are like. With the updates, they typically keep the game in top shape, and with their large community, you can always expect to find a duel.
~~~
To be blunt, if you are reading this and think this is a good game to play, play it and cast your opinion on it. "Sometimes, experiencing it first hand can lead to a good or bad decision on liking or disliking a game. What you like as a game may not apply to others."
Game Analysis - Duel Monsters Expert
Link to it: http://www.byond.com/games/DevourerOfSouls/DuelMonstersExpert
Instead of talking about the player base, which most of the time, you can just plain flat-out ignore them. However, there are some notable comments on how Duel Monsters Expert looks, and how you play it. As you've read "The Truth", I can probably guess that you wonder this: "What is Duel Monsters Expert?". I'll explain it the best I can with what they have listed on their hub:
- A huge card database featuring over 6,200 cards.
From this, they feature all TCG and OCG cards, all anime-only cards, all manga-only cards, and anything that the creator and the players made as customs for this game and this game alone. With this, you would expect this place to be more casual because of the high database, but some things aren't the way it seems.
- Long list of player icons, ranging from the original anime to the more recent Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
They are always trying to make the icons to their best ability, and if an icon needs to be replaced, they add the new icon and keep the old icon. It's really admirable when they have it always up-to-date.
- Frequent updates.
They typically update once per week, unless an admin is unable to complete the update, then they promptly tell the community on what's going on.
- Weekly tournaments for players to compete in to earn Tournament Points and Trophies.
They are always constantly improving the tournament system to have it be fair for all. To be blunt, if they want to make a decision to change an aspect of the tourney, they ask the community and there's a poll to determine if it's worth it or not.
- Intelligent (if quirky) community.
This thought made me twitch. If people are asking how to play Yu-gi-oh! (The Card Game, not how to play Duel Monsters Expert), people simply responded "Read the Help File." where there's no answer to what question they asked in there.
- Drag and Drop dueling, exclusive to Duel Monsters Expert.
Good feature to speed up how things are played.
~~~
To be blunt, if you are reading this and think this is a good game to play, play it and cast your opinion on it. "Sometimes, experiencing it first hand can lead to a good or bad decision on liking or disliking a game. What you like as a game may not apply to others."

The Truth - Final Part - Missed Memories
PART 1: http://dangerascend.blogspot.com/2011/02/truth-part-1-past.html
PART 2: http://dangerascend.blogspot.com/2011/02/truth-part-2-present.html
PART 3: http://dangerascend.blogspot.com/2011/02/truth-part-3-decision.html
The reason why I didn't think about posting the last part after Part 3 is that if I do that, I wouldn't have updated the blog as much as I did with Yu-gi-oh! rather than a personal rant for you to tune into every single post. Let's just say that this is the last part of "The Truth". Instead of leading it down into paragraph form, I'm going to have a more direct approach and let some people know that I'm going to miss them as I transition into Duel Monsters Genesis.
...I think it's time to start:
Chocorrol and Cherry: It's been fun dueling against you two, because I know you guys won't be tempted by "winning" or "losing". It's all about playing the game at hand. Trust me, when I dueled with an extremely casual build, I wasn't constantly pressured by the constant temptation of every duelist that wants to win: "Just finish him and move on." Thank you for letting me duel under that environment, and I realize that casual dueling still exists in Duel Monsters Expert, but with that group hanging around, it's hard to notice, unfortunately. I enjoyed dueling both of you. Both of you, continue dueling and enjoy life to its fullest.
Behemoth: I'm sorry that I have to go, but it's time for me to move on with my life. I know that you were trying to get Duel Monsters Expert back to its former glory, but it's too far out of reach. I want to say this, "Thank you for caring about how Duel Monsters Expert use to be, and I know you will try to find some way to have it back to it's former glory in your own personal way", but it's an uphill battle from where you stand. A never-ending battle that you won't be able to escape on your own. So, I state this: "Stand strong, and fight for what you believe in." Farewell, Behemoth.
Echo: Yes, I was investigating you because I didn't know what was going through your head at the time. If you don't consider me to be your friend, so be it, but I enjoyed dueling against you in Duel Monsters Expert several months ago. I don't know what happened between that duel and now, but I see that you've gotten strong over that short period. Continue fighting those battles, and you'll find your sanctuary someday. I was happy that you were considering to remake your Cyber Angel/Girl deck, but when you drifted apart, I didn't expect you to state the things you did in that conversation. I'm sorry about what I stated to you in the past. There's nothing that I can do to change what I said, but I want you to know that I listened and thought about ways I can get help for you through other online means, since I couldn't be there in person. If you are reading this, Echo, I want to state this: "The times through the hardships that you had were emotional, but I wanted to stick with you until the end." You finally have friends that support you, and I'm glad. Farewell, Echo.
Ishtelte: I entered Duel Monsters Expert as a last hope to find out "The Truth", and instead of finding that truth, I found more turmoil than ever, but I stuck around to see what was happening. I needed to clear my conscious before I moved on. You are a hard worker, and one that I can safely state you can enter any job you want, and you'll do it with excellent efficiency. As for the duels, we fought each other and used our wits to find out much about the game at hand. It's been throughly entertaining, and you'll be able to continue to support Duel Monsters Expert. Thank you for listening to my side of the story. You are an asset that Duel Monsters Expert doesn't want to lose, in my opinion, so continue to enjoy that game to its fullest.
EHeroMatt: I'm glad that I was able to duel you, at least once. After all the hardships that you had, you were able to pull through every single time, outside of dueling and while dueling. Continue to grow stronger with each passing day, even if others will reject your existence. I hope that one day, you would be able to show a good example on how Duel Monsters Expert should be. This game isn't meant to be hostile. It's meant to be fun, without caring if you win or lose. Continue to follow what you feel, and someday, you'll be a good duelist that people look up to.
Duive: I know that you are thinking about quitting Yu-gi-oh!. I would suggest to not do so, and take some time off to clear your mind. You are a good duelist that people should look up to, and remember what I said about probability. If you aren't sure about getting a card properly, you can always try to find ways to bring out that card faster. I'm glad that I got to duel you. Continue to enjoy dueling, and when you don't, you can always find inspiration to continue by talking to your friends. It won't be everyday that you don't want to duel, so take it gradually, and duel who you know.
Any other Duel Monsters Expert player: Enjoy dueling and live life to it's fullest.
For now, this is goodbye, Duel Monsters Expert.
~~~
Sorry if I made anyone depressed while reading this, but I had some things left to say, before I moved on with the transition. Thank you for reading.
