Decided to try something out

Sorry that I have been out for the past few days, but I was testing out something that a friend requested, and it seemed interesting, so I tried it out.

So far, it seems pretty interesting, you get to raise your Pokemon and that, but you don't get to catch them out in the Field. Instead, you are either A) Given an egg to raise or B) Catch it in Safari Zone. Other than that, it's similar to a game called Yu-gi-oh! BAM where you can just leave it closed for a while, then come back, and either A) You gain progress or B) You can leave where you left off.

Scheduling Posts and Thoughts/Questions

I've decided to schedule a bunch of posts ahead of time, at least for some months, so that I can focus in on other things; however, I don't think people realize how to schedule posts on Blogger, so I'll point it out:

Under "Post Settings", there's a Schedule Button. Click it, and it drops down that area into 2 areas you can check off. Check off "Set date and time", and it'll show a calender where you can click on whatever date you like and whatever time you like. Afterwards, click "Done" to finish scheduling the post date and when it will be posted on your blog.

For the new decks that I'll start working on when the new ban list is revealed, I want to ask you this question: "For Dark Worlds, which Field Spell would you prefer?" (Both card images came from Yu-gi-oh! Wikia.)

Why am I asking this? In the current meta, I decided to think outside of the box, and come up with a new tactical plan. The problem is this: "If I'm going to need discards, I would consider an option where it doesn't force you to set anything to "set up your play"." The next question would be the same for the Field Spells, but this time, it would be the most preferred: "For a discard effect to use Dark World, which one out of the two cards shown below would you pick?"

Starting September and Yu-gi-oh! Ban List hopes

Well, normally I wouldn't take a look at how everyone's going to say whatever's going to happen to the Yu-gi-oh! Ban List as their hopes, but I have to state something that I found out very recently in Cardfight!! Vanguard.

• Starting September, Barcgal cannot be selected as your Starting Vanguard.

So, with that said, I need to go through the Royal Paladin guides I set up, and rehash on how the builds are set up, because all of them have Barcgal as your Starting Vanguard.

As for Yu-gi-oh! expectations, I do have a few: (listed below)

• Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning will go back to 1.
• Necrovalley will become limited, because of how Gravekeepers use Royal Tribute, and how Deck Devastation Virus works with the deck.
• Dewlorean will become semi-limited, because of the Symbols loop it has.
• Bottomless Trap Hole will become unlimited, because there wasn't a point of it being semi-limited, other than the fact that probably most of the people at the time were using Bottomless Trap Hole as a chainable Trap to cards that destroy stuff (as a priority).

Other than that, I know more stuff will be hit, but I'm not that good with predictions. I just state what I thought should happen. Anyway, feel free to discuss about how Barcgal's restriction from the Starting Vanguard position affects your Deck, or how my Ban List hopes are.

Some thoughts...

First off, before I get some questions on why there's no Part 2 for Oracle Think Tank and Nova Grapplers, I'll explain it here: Cardfight!! Vanguard is a young game, and with each new set, there's bound to be new strategies for the clans, hence why I labeled them as "Part 1" without a "Part 2".

For the poll, it looks like the majority of the people are voting "No.". I'll still keep it open for the duration, but that's how the poll is beginning to look.

On the Yu-gi-oh! side of things, Rescue Rabbit...is like a godsend to Xyz for Normal Monsters. Below is the effect: (got the card effect and that from Yu-gi-oh! Wikia)

Rescue Rabbit

[Beast/Effect]

This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. Banish this face-up card you control: Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters from your Deck with the same name. A monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed during the End Phase. The effect of "Rescue Rabbit" can only be activated once per turn.

ATK: 300   DEF: 100

So, the pros and cons are:

Pros:

• Special Summons 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters from your Deck with the same name.
• Can often lead to a Xyzs Summoning

Cons:

• This card cannot be Summoned from the Deck.
• This card is banished as a cost.
• You can use this effect once per turn.

So, when I read this card, it is broken on it's own. But, with Empty Space Sea Serpent Levaiel, it's like..."Can I use this effect once per turn?"

Just some thoughts.

Just wondering... (short post)

Would you guys want me to create a forum for you guys to discuss freely about anything? (without being completely stupid) I'm considering making a forum, and if you want it, vote Yes. If not, vote No.

Putting up a Poll (short post)

To be brief, I'm going to put up a poll on the side stating a question: Do you guys want me to blog about Cardfight!! Vanguard or not? (The poll will end on May 1st at 12:00 A.M.)

As for anything Yu-gi-oh! related, recently, I've been thinking about what to choose for the next "Blast from the Past" decklist, then I realized a few topics I can share with you all, and future decks that I'll make will most likely be not viable for competitive use. It is meant to be more casual over anything. This time though, I'm looking into some banned cards from the past that has been used in the original Yu-gi-oh! series.

Just a few things worth mentioning

Yeah, I decided to take a small break from making a bunch of decks, but that doesn't mean that I don't notice anything.

With the new ban list speculation coming around the corner, the only thing I have to say is this: "Why not just wait for the new ban list to come out, and why bother with making your own?" It's true that some of the cards that people mentioned deserve to be banned, but through all this speculation, it causes flame wars to occur...which makes the meaning of what you want to see banned, pointless, and it just leaves a bad aftertaste afterwards.

I'm not going to boast around with a ban list speculation thread, because that's slightly behind the reason of the "What if?" Deck Discussion I did before. If anyone wants to see a "What if?" Deck, go ahead and comment below with the suggestion.

As for my next deck I'm going to make, I'm having problems with the Spell and Trap line-up, so I shelved the idea for now. Another reason why I don't have a Deck List for you all.

Hm...*gets a new idea*...maybe that'll work. *goes off thinking*

Merry Christmas

Well, I typically think of a Yu-gi-oh! related thing to talk about, but that's besides the point in this case, but instead I'll bring forth a challenge for all of you. Why? Because I think it'll suit the Christmas vibe.

Remember the typical Christmas song: "12 Days of Christmas", so I consider you this: Make a deck that includes at least 1 Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6, Level 7, Level 8, Level 9, Level 10, Level 11, and Level 12 monster inside your Main and Extra Deck.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make that deck until later, because I want to focus on other matters, but I want to mention this: Have a Merry Christmas!

Happy Halloween! (short post)

Well, I think it's time for a short post for once.

"From the darkness stemming from your heart, will you feel the chill of your heart slowly increase dramatically as each day passes?"

I wanted to ask you this: Have you ever felt like having fun with other truly made you happy? So, my suggestion is, to actually find that one thing that truly makes you happy, and do it. Regardless, Happy Halloween! I know it's a bit early, but I'm going to be focusing on other things on the 31st, so I thought it might be time to take care of the post early. See you all in November.
