Mainly, the strategy around Velvet Voice, Raindeer is to focus in on the Grade 3 Drive Checks and get enough hits on your opponent to make them lose; however, there's a way to keep yourself not screwed by multiple Grade 3 Drive Checks, and that is this combination:
Velvet Voice, Raindeer as Vanguard with Rainbow Light, Carine or Girls Rock, Rio as Rear Guard
With the balance set the way that it is, 4 Perfect Guards are required for this deck, since your hand will most likely be clogged by Grade 3s.

4x Comical Rainie

I'm assuming the Feluccas are there to charge for Perla, but it doesn't seem like they do much else. I'd suggest using a Flores or two as well to get the most use from your SC.
ReplyDeleteAlso, how is Izumi working? She doesn't seem to be very popular in the Japanese builds I've seen so it'd be interesting to see how it does.
Right now, the focus was to get 20000 Power Lane set up if I decided to spam Super Idol, Ceram with Velvet Voice, Raindeer; however, easily, you can replace Feluccas with the generic 8000 Power Grade 1 Booster.
DeleteAlso, with Izumi, the reason why she went into this build is because if I'm using Raindeer's effect, if I know I'm not going to win that turn, and I'm using Velvet Voice, Raindeer's effect, I can replace a Grade 2 for Izumi which will give my total defenses 5000 more or replace a Grade 3 for Izumi which will give my total defenses 10000 more.
Also, there's no point in running Flores unless you are using a Vanguard that needs to clear out the Soul pile, like Scarlet Witch, Koko, for instance.
don't you have to use exactly 50 cards?
ReplyDeleteYes, you have to use -exactly- 50 cards.
