I'm pretty sure you guys heard it from other bloggers, but I think it's time for me to state something about the card, then go build a deck on a whim.
Chaos Hunter
******* Attribute: Dark
[Fiend/Effect]
When your opponent Special Summon a monster, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card from your hand. Your opponent cannot remove cards from play.
ATK: 2500 DEF: 1600
So, I've been thinking "Why not make a Chaos Fabled deck with this and go with it?" I'll make that deck soon enough. Now for the pros and cons:
Pros:
- Able to be Special Summoned easily by it's effect. Downside to this is that your opponent can use one of their cards to kill it right then and there.
- Discard cost. It'll work well with Fabled.
Con:
- Able to be Normal Summoned, but it costs two tributes to do so. So, in a sense, you would use the effect a lot more than just Normal Summoning it.
Anyway, thought I might mention what I'm up to before I think about making the deck.
Seems a tad techy to me. Maxx "C" has the limelight for generally being better and more versatile.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I have a sneaky suspicion that this card will see future play should a removal orientated deck come to dominate the metagame.
Agreed. I can see Maxx "C" being used for most decks. The reason why I picked Chaos Hunter is that it inspired me to build a deck revolving around Fabled monsters once again.
ReplyDeleteNow, that I think about it, maybe they would be a time where Macro Cosmos decks would see more light. Who knows?
