Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca

I think it's about time for another card to be explained. From what I've noticed, people focused more on Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu, when this card has some potential as well...

For example...if you put it inside a DARK deck:

Pros:
- Mystic Tomato searchable
- Can be used as a Special Summon measure to stop your opponent's monsters from attacking.
- Is able to be Tribute Summoned easily

Allow me to elaborate on the last point, when you Special Summon an Earthbound Immortal immediately, you need to try to get it's effect off ASAP (like Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu, when we all know that could mean bad things could happen to your opponent.) Now, with the Earthbound Immortal support and more people trying to gain hand and field presence, would this see more play under the correct deck, or is it just me?

Cons:
- Needs Field Spell Card active to live

That's an obvious negative towards an Earthbound Immortal, however thanks to Malefic Stardust Dragon, that shouldn't be a problem.

~~~
An obvious strategy I use is to Special Summon 1 Earthbound Immortal, tribute that Earthbound Immortal for the second Earthbound Immortal (satisfying the rule), and triggering the first Earthbound Immortal's effect (whatever that might be). Anyway, it's your choice on the mattter of what you want.
~~~

Anyway, enjoy. Feel free to comment or discuss.

Update to Eccentric Assault and Fairy Nurse Lily

Well, I don't have a new decklist today because of time restraints, however, I did update Eccentric Assault because I put it through good testing during the weekend. Anyway, follow this link if you want to see the updates to it: http://dangerascend.blogspot.com/2010/09/eccentric-assault.html

Anyway, since I couldn't make a deck list, I guess another custom is in order.

Fairy Nurse Lily
*** Attribute: Earth
[Spellcaster/Effect]
You can send 1 monster from your Hand to your Graveyard to increase this card's ATK by the sent monster's ATK only during the Damage Step. This card's effect can be activated only during the Damage Step of either player's turn. During your Standby Phase, increase your Life Points by the number of monster(s) in your Graveyard times by 200.
ATK: 400 DEF: 1500

Sorry, since one of my announcements said that I would focus more on deck lists; however, I updated 1 deck. Sorry, and enjoy.

Announcement 5

Now, I know what to do. I've been checking to see how many views are being shown between each of my posts (for the last couple of months), so I decided to let you guys know of a few things.
  1. I'll focus on making more decks for people to view on here.
  2. If I'm unable to make a deck during this time, I'll post either some customs, or make a lesson for Created Cards.
Anyway, that's what I've noticed so far, when glancing.

Sonic Death

Another custom for the road. Anyway, enjoy!

Sonic Death
[Quick-Play Spell Card]
You can only activate this card when a monster on your Field is destroyed by battle. Activate one of the following effects: (*)Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. (*) Your opponent sends 1 card from his hand to the Graveyard.

Anyway, this time I chose to put up a picture of a card with the actual text of the card. Thought I try something different for once.

Announcement 4

If I've made a mistake somewhere in this blog, please don't hesitate to point it out. I'm doing my best to try and give you guys as much as I can. Due to real life ordeals, I won't be as efficient as I possibly can. So yeah, feel free to comment anywhere and point out if I made mistakes, or just discuss with me on the topics themselves.

Anyway, without further ado, I'll put up the next ideals that I have in mind:
  1. Make a Yubel/Phoenix build. (I always wanted to try this destruction lock out, so I'll get to informing you guys over the next few days about it.)
  2. Creating more customs (as always)
  3. Considering making Lesson 2 for the Created Card Lessons.
Anyway, I don't mind if you show me my mistakes by commenting. It just tells me that people have taken interest to my blog. Also, you can learn from your mistakes and hopefully never do them again. Anyway, have fun.

Pretty basic and simple. Regardless, enjoy.

On a side note, looks like I won't be able to color code my cards, for now. Sorry. (It happened with last deck and now this one.)

EDIT: From a comment, I realized that one of the cards that I put in this deck didn't work, because namely I forgot to read the effect throughly, and skimmed it. Now, that comment came to my attention, and now I fixed it.

-2x Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr
+2x Dark Resonator

See. Everyone makes mistakes at some time, right? o.o

Second edit: More changes because I actually decided to put some effort into this deck in order for it to work.

Moved Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn to my Side Deck. Added 3 Cyber Dragons to the main deck. Add the remainder of the Extra Deck. Included the Side Deck. Anyway, rate, fixes, comment, or discuss.

It made me realize how strong Flamvells are, and I decided to push for all 3 instead of just Savior-Buster. Regardless enjoy, and yes, I took some concepts of the deck, but added some of my own to it. (Namely, the defensive end because if I don't get what I need, there's no point.) I'll revise it when I get some time. Rate, fix, comment, whatever, just enjoy!

Announcement 3

Please assume that there's more than 1 lesson for Created Cards. It's just the first lesson is the "If you think you can make a broken card just to "win", don't bother." I'm trying to kill the self-esteem for the person that WANTS to do such things.

Regarding the Savior-Buster deck, I'm not sure if I'll have time to make it currently, however, I'll be able to work on it in parts.

Creations will be posted as often as I'm available. Letting you know ahead of time.

Just giving you a heads up. Regardless, enjoy.

Created Card Lesson 1 - How do you make Created Cards?

Honestly, there's nothing that you can do to prepare for this? If you know how to play the game itself, that's fine; however, if you can think you can make a broken card because you want to "win", then stop reading and move on to the next post, please, because that's what this post is NOT about. Now, to settle some basic statements:

1) There's no set boundary to what you can make. You can make whatever your heart desires, but be warned, because if it doesn't work well enough or if it's too requirement heavy, you'll never see the use of that card.

2) However, in some cases, you need to focus on two things: "Broken by design vs. Broken on how it is played".

Typically, I would go through each way to push for creativity, but in this case, not exactly. If you push for something that they have no understanding of, then there's no point in them pushing for more knowledge. So I decide to push for one final look and decided to give them a basic point on where some cards lie.

Broken by design:

Typically, these cards would be rejected on how they are seen. For example, you don't want a card that blows up your opponent's cards each turn. For example:

Destruction of Hope

[Continuous Spell Card]

During each Phase of your opponent's turn, destroy all cards on your opponent's side of the Field. This card cannot be removed from the Field by your opponent's card effects.

Pretty self-explanatory, this card is broken beyond belief and whoever made this card needs to stop trying. If you start off with this as your basis, then don't bother making cards, because no one wants to see One Turn Kills (OTKs) run loose.

Broken on how it is played:

This one is the more fun of the two. It shows that you know how it works, AND the cards themselves are usable to the point of where people want to play them for what they are. However, it can get pointless making these types of cards, because if everyone breaks it, then it'll soon be rejected. I won't give an example of this, because there is no set example. You need to figure this one out, on your own.

Final Comments:

Well I explained the basis of both of those, and basically told you that there's no set path you can take while making these. Regardless of what you think, I still want people to try and make some cards, because:

1) It is fun.

2) It is a perfect way to enjoy yourself while waiting for an appointment or if you have some free time.

In any case, it doesn't matter what you decide to do. The choice is yours.

Armored Maiden - Sylphie

It's been a small while so I'll post a card.

Armored Maiden - Sylphie
****** Attribute: Light
[Warrior/Effect]
When your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tribute. In this case, the original ATK of this card becomes 1800. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can send 1 card from your Hand to your Graveyard to add 1 Warrior-type monster from your Graveyard to your Hand.
ATK: 2300 DEF: 1500

Sorry, that I haven't posted for a while. I just haven't got enough inspiration, that's all. Anyway, enjoy!

Dissipating Spires

Well, since I haven't done this in a while, time to post a few created cards.

Dissipating Spire - Alicia the Transcendent
******** Attribute: Water
[Aqua/Effect]
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned except by removing 3 WATER monsters from your Graveyard from play. When this card is Special Summoned, place 2 Dissipate Counters on this card. Negate the effects of all monsters your opponent controls. During each End Phase, remove 1 Dissipate Counter from this card. If you cannot, destroy this card.
ATK: 2000 DEF: 2500

Dissipating Spire - Beth the Adolescence
******** Attribute: Water
[Aqua/Effect]
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned except by removing 3 WATER monsters from your Graveyard from play. When this card is Special Summoned, place 2 Dissipate Counters on this card. Negate the effects of all Spell Cards your opponent controls. During each End Phase, remove 1 Dissipate Counter from this card. If you cannot, destroy this card.
ATK: 2000 DEF: 2500

Dissipating Spire - Katlenne the Transparent
******** Attribute: Water
[Aqua/Effect]
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned except by removing 3 WATER monsters from your Graveyard from play. When this card is Special Summoned, place 2 Dissipate Counters on this card. Negate the effects of all Trap Cards your opponent controls. During each End Phase, remove 1 Dissipate Counter from this card. If you cannot, destroy this card.
ATK: 2000 DEF: 2500

This is hopefully will stem out into a nice created deck for a future sense. Anyway, enjoy!

Update 2

Sorry that I haven't been on as of late. Anyway, from what I figure out, I need to figure out what I have to do with the Savior/Buster deck. So, I'll do it in three paths.
  1. Build a Stardust Dragon/Buster deck.
  2. Then, build a Savior Star Dragon deck.
  3. Then, combine the two.
Hopefully, I'm able to finish it for a while. Anyway, thought I might post and keep it alive. Also, I've decided on a new Creation route for my Created Cards. Hopefully, I'll be able to add them here as well.

Anyway, have fun dueling.
